Eligibility

You may qualify for a PEP if you meet one of the following criteria:
- Overseas foreign professional with a last drawn fixed monthly salary of at least S$18,000, supported by documentary proof (up to the last 6 months).
- Existing Employment Pass (EP) holder in Singapore earning a fixed monthly salary of at least S$12,000.

Key Conditions of Holding a PEP

To maintain the validity of your PEP, holders must comply with the following MOM requirements:

  • Not remain unemployed in Singapore for more than 6 consecutive months

  • Earn a minimum of S$144,000 per calendar year (regardless of number of months employed)

  • Notify MOM of:

    1. Starting or leaving a job

    2. Any changes to contact details (e.g., address, local contact person)

    3. Annual salary declaration (by 31 January each year)
